CLEVE COURT

 

The former home of 1920's Thanet MP Sir Edward Carson is reported to not only have doors opening and closing of their own accord, but also footsteps and sightings of a grey lady and a time-slip back to the 19th century! Other stories suggest that the grey lady is the ghost of a woman, whose husband would not let her have children. SEE MORE ON CLEVE COURT

 

 

FOXBOROUGH LANE

 

A ghostly figure standing 7 foot tall and dressed completely in black has been witnessed to glide silently, bar the quiet swishing of his cloak, at 6am.

 

HILL HOUSE

 

Strange sounds have been heard during the night on the housing estate built on the site of this former hospital.

 

 

                    

 

MINSTER CEMETARY

 

A woman in grey and a very tall apparition have been seen herre while former caretaker, Bert Burgess took a picture that had the apparition of a young girl standing in old fashioned clothing standing in front of the chapel gates.

 

 

OLD OAK COTTAGE

 

A hooded figure, reported to be a jealous monk, has been seen at this 700 year old property.
